Rafael Acosta Cammarota

Rafael Eduardo Acosta Cammarota (born 13 February 1989 in Caracas) is a Venezuelan footballer who plays as a central midfielder.

Biography and Career

Acosta began his professional career at Cagliari Calcio, where he made his first team debut in the Coppa Italia on 12 December 2007 against Sampdoria Genoa. He played for the Cagliari Sub-20 team before being promoted to the senior team.

In his youth career, Acosta played for the Allievi team (Cagliari sub-17) in the 2005/2006 campaign, where he played 22 games and scored two goals.

Club Career

Acosta has played for several clubs throughout his career. He started his professional career at Cagliari Calcio, but later moved to Omonia Aradippou of the Second Division of Cyprus, and then to Alki Oroklini.
