Early Life and Career
Mayan Rafic (, born 12 May 1995) is an Israeli windsurfer. He was born in Herzliya.
Windsurfing Career
Rafic began competing in international competitions at the age of 13 on a Techno 293 surfboard. In 2008, he reached eighth place in the Techno 293 Under 15 World Championships and finished ninth in this competition a year later. He transitioned to surfing the RS:X surfboard after the Youth Olympics.
Achievements
Rafic won the gold medal at the first Youth Olympic Games in Singapore in 2010. At the 2013 RS:X Windsurfing Youth World Championships, he won a silver medal in the Youth Men competition.
