Rafail Mamas

Rafail Mamas (; born March 4, 2001) is a Cypriot professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for AEK Larnaca and the Cyprus national team.

Club career

Mammas began his youth career at A.K. Boys from Larnak in his hometown of Larnaca, Cyprus. He made his senior debut on May 13, 2018, playing the full ninety minutes in a 3–2 win over AEL Limassol for AEK Larnaca.

In July 2018, Mammas joined Serie A club Napoli, but he did not make any appearances for the team. In September 2020, he moved to Serie B side SPAL. After three years in Italy, Mammas returned to AEK Larnaca on July 19, 2021.

International career

Mammas has represented Cyprus at under-17 level. He received his first call-up to the senior squad for 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Croatia and Malta in October 2021, following an injury to Andreas Karo. He was an unused substitute in both matches. Mammas made his debut on November 11, 2021, in a World Cup qualifier against Russia.
