Episode 1
The series begins with David Samhoun on his deathbed confessing to his wife Helen that he is a Muslim Egyptian, not an Israeli, and asking her not to call the rabbi or ask about him in the Egyptian intelligence agency. He confirms that he is not a spy. The news of his death reaches the Egyptian intelligence, where officer Aziz Jbali decides to travel there to pray for him. His superiors are concerned about his request, but it is arranged for him to be present there so as not to raise suspicions by pretending to be a rabbi from a certain Jewish sect and claiming that Samhoun followed this sect. He prays for him in his house before he is buried. Helen searches through David's papers and finds half of a note on a banknote written "Put your trust in us," and the other half is missing.
Episode 2
Helen has been living in turmoil since her husband's death due to what he told her and the mysterious message on the note. She searches his papers, and the doctor denies that her husband had a period of madness. On a visit from an old friend, Egyptian businessman Nahad Kamel, she sends a message to the head of the Egyptian intelligence informing him of her husband's death. The Egyptian intelligence sends two agents to visit her.
Episode 3
Helen encounters the confession of her servant Francis that he and his father were prominent members of the Nazi party but had to hide and abandon their past due to the pursuit by the Allies and Jews.
She then finds the other half of the note with the remaining message, which asks her to trust them because they are her family. The Egyptian intelligence arranges for her to travel secretly to Egypt, where she meets the head of the Egyptian intelligence, Aziz Jbali, who begins to explain the true nature of Samhoun's personality to her.
Episode 4
Aziz tells Helen that David's real name is Raafat al-Hagan. He then mentions the problems in 1954 and touches on Paul Frank and John Darlington and Marcel and Max, and their plan to create tension between America and the Egyptian regime by blowing up American intelligence offices in Egypt. He told her about Mohsen Mmtaz and his training of the General Intelligence Agency, and about Hassan Shakir, his friend, and Muhammad Kasab. They arrest Philip with a bomb similar to the one that exploded at the intelligence offices.
Episode 5
They arrest all the Jews who blew up the intelligence offices after Philip confessed to them. However, John Darlington and Frank escaped. After the confessions of those arrested, Mohsen thinks about planting someone inside Israel and tells Aziz Jbali about how to cooperate with Raafat al-Hagan.
