Raluca Șerban

Early Life and Career

Raluca Georgiana Șerban (; born 17 June 1997) is a Romanian-born professional tennis player, who since 2019 has represented Cyprus.

Career

Șerban started with tennis at the age of five and prefers hard courts. She mostly plays ITF tournaments. On the ITF Women’s World Tennis Tour she has won 13 titles in singles and 14 in doubles.

### Nationality and Representation

Șerban was born in Romania but has Cypriot nationality since 2019. She represents Cyprus in international tennis competitions.

Personal Life

At the age of 14, she emigrated with her parents to Cyprus, where she is supervised by Yiannos Hadjigeorgiou, former coach of Marcos Baghdatis. Since 2013 she has been a member of the Masters Tennis Academy.
