Ransford Addo

Early Life and Club Career

Akwei Ransford Addo was born on July 21, 1983, in Accra, Ghana.

Addo began his football career at Ken Harrison Babyz Colts (1996-1998), before moving to FC Girondins de Bordeaux (1998-1999). He then played for Club Brugge (1999-2004) and Anderlecht (2004-2006).

Later Career

In 2007, Addo joined Royal Antwerp, where he played until at least 2015. During his time in Belgium, he also had stints with Dender (2006-2007). In January 2015, he transferred to China League One side Wuhan Zall.

International and Personal Life

Addo's older brother, Eric Addo, is a former footballer who played for Roda. Ransford Addo has also represented Ghanaian expatriate athletes in various countries, including Belgium, France, and Cyprus.

Honours

In 2012, Shanghai SIPG won the China League One title with Addo as part of their squad.
