Player career

He debuted at the big team of the Star in a match against the League team IVa Avântura Bârsana in a match in the Romanian Cup Timisoara.

Răzvan Gardinaru has evolved with Star in the UEFA Youth League, where he played in all six matches, managing to score three times.

At the age of 12, he reached the junior of Dinamo Bucharest, where he stayed for only two years, then transferring to the rival sea, Steaua, who was a small child, his idol being Marius Lăcătuș, the legend of the Star. That's why he wore the number 7 T-shirt in the UEFA Youth League, but on the big team he has the number 27 T-shirt, the number 7 one being worn by Alexander Chipciu.

He made his debut in League 1 on 11 April 2014 at the Steaua and FC Vaslui match in Gencea.

In the 2014- 2015 season, he was loaned to Galati Steel, where he played in 19 matches, of which 17 in League 1, but did not score a goal.

During the training period until the beginning of the season 2015- 16, Razvan Gardinaru scored a generic goal against the fourth league team ASF Zarnești, won by Star 8-0. It began well, and this season, pushing hard on the attack and taking out in the match against FC Botoșani, won 1-0 (Gabriel Iancu 2 '), drew the free blow from which he scored the goal of victory.

In 2016 he is permanently transferred to CS Concordia Chiajna, with Steaua keeping percentages of his future transfer. He scores for ilfoveni in a game with Gaz Metan.

On 28 June 2022, Gardenaru signed a two-season contract with Cypriot team APK Karmiotissa Pano Polemidion.
