Rebirth of Lythrodonda
Rebirth Lythrodonda / Anagennisi Lythrodonta
The club was founded as "The Great Greece" reading room in 1920, which later became the rural club Elia Lythrodonda in 1938. However, a portion of the village felt that Elia did not express their views, leading to the establishment of the educational club "The social progress Lythrodonda" on March 23, 1944.
Following Eleia's accession to the Panagrotic Association of Cyprus (PEK) in 1944, dissenting members left and formed this new club. In 1947, the club was renamed RAK Lythrodonda (Cyprus Farmers' Association), and its football team was founded in the same year.
On December 14, 1955, the English governors of Cyprus outlawed AKEL, the Neoleas (AON), the Cyprus Farmers Association (EAK) and the Cyprus Democratic Women's Organization (PODG). As a result, RAK Lythrodonda ceased to exist as an official entity. However, its legacy continued under different names.
