Redován

Redován is a municipality in the province of Alicante, Spain, located in the co-mark of the Vega Baja del Segura and situated between the historical Kingdoms of Valencia and Murcia.

Geography

Redován is situated between the Segura River and at the foot of its beautiful mountain, known as Redován Mountain. The municipal term is crossed by the Mediterranean Highway (A-7), by the N-340 road, between PK 691 and 692, and by local roads that allow communication with Orihuela and Callosa de Segura.

Orography

The relief of the municipality has two perfectly differentiated parts: the northwestern part of the term is occupied by the Sierra Mountains, while the southeastern part is characterized by a more gentle terrain.
