Regional cuisine or regional cuisine (often called “kitchen” for short) refers to the eating and cooking habits of the population that prevail in a landscape or region.
Each landscape produces regional products, each culture has produced its own traditions, and through trade and travel, migration and newly introduced food, regional cuisines are influenced and changed. Each region and each country, even individual cities, have produced their own cuisine. Countries are also referred to as national cuisine.
