Registers of good practice examples

--- CONTENT ---
The Register of Good Practice Examples is one of three international lists drawn up by UNESCO under the Convention for the Conservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage since 2008. The register contains model projects for the protection and strengthening of intangible cultural heritage at national, regional or local level.

The Intergovernmental Committee for the Conservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage shall decide at its annual meeting on the inclusion of projects in the Register of Good Practice Examples. Projects will be included that reflect and effectively implement the objectives and principles of the Convention for the Conservation of Intangible Cultural Heritage. The projects are designed to inspire other states, institutions, communities and non-governmental organisations to take action to protect and promote intangible cultural heritage.
