Anagennisi Prosfigon Ayiou Antoniou Lemesou

Anagennisi Prosfigon Ayiou Antoniou Lemesou, commonly known as Renaissance of Refugees of Agios Antonios Limassol, is a Cypriot football team based in the district of Agios Antonios, Limassol.

History

The team was founded in 1975 by refugees who moved to Limassol after the Turkish invasion of Cyprus in 1974. Initially, the team participated in the events of the Limassol Provincial Football Federation (EPOL). In 1985, the Cyprus Football Federation (COP) decided to create the fourth class, and the Renaissance was among the teams selected by the STOK to participate in the first league of this new division.

League Performance

The team has five entries in the fourth category of Cyprus football. In its first participation in the fourth division, in 1985–86, it finished in ninth place of its group. The following period, it finished in penultimate position and was demoted to the agricultural (local) championships.
