René Ossie Kofi

Early Life and Career

René Ossie Kofi was born on December 31, 1991, in Amsterdam, Netherlands. He is a Ghanaian-Dutch footballer who has played as a defender for various clubs.

Career

Osei Kofi began his professional career at Almere City in the Dutch Eerste Divisie on a season-long loan for the 2010–2011 season. However, his loan spell was brought to an abrupt end following an incident in the Almere City locker room, where he put a gun to the head of teammate Christian Gandu on November 10, 2010. Two days later, his contract with Ajax was canceled with immediate effect as a result.

After leaving Almere City, Osei Kofi went on trial at Birmingham City and Crystal Palace in England but was not offered a contract. In March 2012, he signed with the Spanish club CD Comarca de Níjar, which plays in the Tercera División. He then played for Haaglandia in the Topklasse during the 2012/13 season.

International Career

Osei Kofi has also played for FK Drita Bogovinje in North Macedonia and Aris Limassol in Cyprus. His international career has taken him to various countries, including Spain, Cyprus, and North Macedonia.
