Career
Club
He began his career in Pardaugava, then play for two seasons in Skonto/Metals, formation reserves of the Skonto.
He then moved to Daugava, which became the following year LU-Daugava.
After a year at the FK Rīga with which he won his first trophy (the Latvia Cup), he moved to the Skonto, winning the championship and the national cup.
In 2001 he first went down in 1. Līga, with the Auda.
National
He made his debut on 22 February 2000 in the national team, entering a few minutes from the end in place of Vitālijs Astafjevs, during a game played against the international tournament in Cyprus. In the next race, as part of the same tournament, he began to play for 70 minutes before leaving the place at Andrejs Štolcers.
He totaled four meetings with the national team, all played in 2000, without scoring networks.
