Renáta Csiki (Hungarian: Csiki Renáta; * 3 April 1994 in Budapest) is a Hungarian handball and beach handball player. Since 2014 she has been a specialist in the Hungarian national team in beach handball and has achieved several international and national successes with the national team as well as her club teams. Her brother Norbert Csiki is a professional footballer.

Indoor handball

Csiki played first in the youth team of Fehérvár KC and later in the first team of Multicem Szentendrei NKE in the second and third Hungarian league. Since the 2019/20 season she plays for Esztergomi Vitézek RAFC.

Beachhandball

Csiki participated in her first international tournament with the Hungarian beach handball national team of juniors at the 2013 Junior European Championships in Randers, Denmark. Hungary won the first games against Switzerland, Russia, Spain, Denmark and Norway without problems, only the last game of the preliminary round against Turkey was lost in the shootout. As the group first team, Hungary moved into the semi-finals. Csiki was the most successful Hungarian thrower against Spain with 16 points, against Norway with 12 and Turkey with 13 points each together with Kitti Gróz. Also in the semi-final victory against Russia she was with 14 points the most successful thrower. In the clear final victory, she did not contribute a point for the only time in the tournament.

The following year, the 2014 World Championships in Recife, Brazil, were the highlight of the season. Csiki made an ideal start to the tournament with the Hungarian national team in their first A tournament on the first day. After Thailand was defeated, Argentina was also defeated. On the second day, the Spaniards were defeated in the shootout. The third day began with a victory against Ukraine. Only in the last game against Denmark was there the first tournament defeat. Despite the defeat, the Hungarians moved as the first in the main round. Italy and Norway were defeated in the shootout. Also this time there was only a defeat at the last game, now against Brazil. As second place in the table, the Hungarians went to the semi-finals, here they defeated the team of Ukraine in two rounds. In the final there was a defeat against the Brazilians. Hungary once again received the Fair Play Prize.

At the European Championship 2015 in Lloret de Mar, Spain, Hungary competed as the title-defining team. In her first European championships, Csiki again managed a good tournament, although in the first match against Russia there was initially a defeat in the shootout and she herself was without goals. All other five games against Germany, Poland, Serbia, Switzerland and Italy were mostly won in a convincing manner, only the game against Serbia was very close and that against Poland was only won in the shootout.
