Ricardo van Rhijn (* 13) June 1991 in Leiden, Netherlands is a Dutch football player who is used as a defender in domestic defense or as a right-wing full-back.

Van Rhijn moved in 2001 from the youth of RKSV DoCoS (Rooms-Katholieke Sportvereniging Door Combinatie Sterk) in Leiden (Province of Zuid-Holland) to the next generation of Ajax Amsterdam. On 18 December 2011, he made his debut in the Eredivisie at the age of 20 when he played through in the 4-0 home win against ADO The Hague. By the end of the season, van Rhijn was used in many games and had mostly played through. Ajax Amsterdam won the Dutch Championship at the end of the season. In the 2012/13 season, he achieved his breakthrough, when he fought for a regular place in the defence of the Amsterdamers and was mostly used as right-wing full-back. As a Dutch champion, Ajax qualified for the group stage of the UEFA Champions League, where the Dutch record champion met on Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid and Manchester City and retired as group third. Van Rhijn played in all six group games and played with his club in the intermediate round of the UEFA Europa League, where Ajax Amsterdam lost to Steaua Bucharest. In national competitions, Van Rhijn and Ajax win the title defence in the league.
