Richard Boateng

Biography

Richard Boateng (born July 10, 1992) is a Ghanaian footballer who plays as a midfielder.

Career

Boateng began his senior career with Liberty Professionals. In the summer of 2010, he signed for Granada C. F.'s subsidiary team. On January 26, 2012, he was assigned to Cadiz C. F., where he played in their Third Division subsidiary team.

On July 27, 2012, he was transferred to C. D. San Roque de Lepe, playing in the Second B division. After this assignment, he returned to Granada B, also competing in the third division. On February 28, 2014, Boateng made his professional debut, coming on as a substitute against Athletic Club of Bilbao.

In the summer of 2016, after completing his contract with Granada C. F., he signed for Aris Limassol in Cyprus. On January 1, 2017, he joined Extremadura U. D. On August 3, 2017, Boateng moved to U. D. Melilla, where he scored 14 goals during his time with the club.
