Richard Relford

Early Life and College Career

Richard Allen Relford was born on February 16, 1964, in Riviera Beach, Florida.

Professional Career

Relford played college basketball at the University of Michigan with the Michigan Wolverines. He began his professional career in 1986 when he was drafted by the Indiana Pacers with the second pick of the fifth round.

### NBA Career

He played four games for the San Antonio Spurs in the 1987-88 season, averaging 4.0 points and 1.8 rebounds per contest.

### International Career

Relford played three seasons in the Israeli Basketball Premier League. In the 1989-90 season, he averaged 26.6 points per game and 9.2 rebounds per game. He also played for AEK Athens in Greece in 1990 and Sant Josep in Spain during the 1990-91 season.
