Rikkos Mappuridis is a Greek Cypriot politician. He was a Member of Parliament in the Lefkosia Electoral District elected with DISY in 2013-2016.

Biographical data
Ricos Mappuridis was born in Nicosia on 14 July 1959. He's born blind. He speaks, beyond Greek, English. He studied law at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. He works as a lawyer.

After his studies he completed his practice at the office of the Attorney General of the Republic of Cyprus. He then worked for three years in a law firm. From 1985 to 1990 he kept his own law firm. In July 1990 he was appointed to the Attorney General's office, holding the position of Senior Lawyer of the Republic. Since 2012 he has maintained his own law firm.

He is married to Dawn Polydorou and has two daughters.

Path Policy
He participated in the 2011 parliamentary elections in the Lefkosia Electoral District with DISY but was not elected. However, in 2013, the MP of the Lefkosia Electoral District of DISY, Harris Georgiadis, was appointed Minister of Labour and Social Security in the Government of Nikos Anastasiades. First runner-up for his position in parliament was Ricos Mappuridis, who took office as MP on 7 March 2013, for the 1st Parliamentary Period. He claimed re-election in the 2016 parliamentary election but was not elected.

As Member of Parliament, he served as Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Legal Affairs, a member of the Parliamentary Committee on Human Rights and Equal Opportunities between Men and Women and the Ad Hoc Parliamentary Committee on Cypriot Airlines.
