Rita Mažukėlytė-Petra (* 18). September 1985 in Vilnius is a Lithuanian national football player.

Career

Clubs
Rita Mažukėlytė began her career at Vilniaus FM in 2003. After two years at Vilnius, she moved to FK TexTilitė Ukmergės in May 2005 and from there to FK Vetra Vilnius after one year. She scored 24 goals in 28 games for Vetra before joining the team of Gintra University Šiauliai. After two years at Gintra Universitetas she went to Denmark in the summer of 2010, to FC Damsö. In the Danish second league, she developed into a top performer. She left the club in the summer of 2012 to pause for 11 months due to a pregnancy.

In January 2013 she returned from maternity leave and signed with FC Aarau in the NLB in Switzerland. In August 2013, she joined FC Staad, who plays in the NLA. Half a year later she played on loan for FC Weinfelden-Bürglen until the end of the season 2013/2014. In the summer of 2014 she returned to FC Staad and scored in her first championship match against St. Gallen the matching goal 2-2. On the 3rd matchday she shot the victory goal 1-0 against the leader of the standings FC Basel. On the 8th matchday she shot the 2-0 final goal against the leader of the standings FC Lucerne. Due to professional reasons that made a move necessary, she moved to SC Schwyz in January 2015. Since July 2017 she plays for the football club Rapperswil-Jona and has been promoted to the NLB in the 2017/2018 season. She has scored 11 goals in 24 championship and cup games.

National team
Mažukėlytė has been a U-19 national team player since 2003 and at the same time a national player for the Lithuanian women’s football team since 2003. She has since played in 80 international matches for her home country and scored 9 goals. Her last international match before her second birth she completed on 30. August 2015 against Estonia and crowned their performance by hitting 1-0 and winning the Baltic Cup 2015. After the birth of her second child in July 2016, she is on 8 and 10. February 2017 again for the Lithuanian national team against Malta, as part of a friendly trip, from the beginning. On 12 March 2017, she will be part of the Aphrodite Cup in Cyprus against Bahrain (2-0), on 13 March 2017 against Estonia (0:0) and on 15 March 2017 against Malta (1:1, 4:2 after penalty) from the beginning. They won 3rd place in the tournament without defeat. As part of the World Championship qualification for the 2019 World Cup, she completed another 3 international matches from the start against Israel, Moldova and Andorra in April 2017 and another 2 against Latvia and Estonia in the Baltic Cup. In the Baltic Cup 2019 she met against Estonia to the 2-0 final.
