Rita Mažukėlytė began her career at Vilniaus FM in 2003. After two years at Vilnius, she moved to FK TexTilitė Ukmergės in May 2005 and from there to FK Vetra Vilnius after one year. She scored 24 goals in 28 games for Vetra before joining the team of Gintra University Šiauliai. After two years at Gintra Universitetas she went to Denmark in the summer of 2010, to FC Damsö.
