Robert Bittner (* 5). May 1977 in Rüdersdorf near Berlin) is a German actor, director, author and producer. He is founder of the film production company Sonnenfilme, which he manages.
Live life
Robert Bittner grew up in Spreenhagen in Brandenburg and served in the mentally handicapped home in Storkow. He then studied German studies and philosophy at the Technical University of Berlin and the Humboldt University of Berlin until 2001.
From 2001 to 2004 he studied acting in Berlin and in 2007 completed a year of directing studies as a guest at the Hochschule für Schauspielkunst “Ernst Busch” Berlin.
After completing his drama school education, he began with the one-person piece “Johan vom Po Discovers America” by Dario Fo, which he has played at various theatres to this day. In addition to his first leading roles in short films, he guested in the Telenovela in love in Berlin as a performance artist, in the pilot film "Exitus - Ärzte am Limit" (director: Udo Witte) and played theatre at the Theater der Altmark in Stendal. This was followed by engagements at theatres in Potsdam, Hamburg and Erfurt. At the Deutsches Theater Berlin he was, among other things, in the ensemble of the “Orestie” under the direction of Michael Thalheimer, who was invited to the Berlin Theatertreffen 2007 and won the Festival Mess in Sarajevo.
In 2008 he went to the Landestheater Detmold, where he played as an ensemble member in the 2009 nominated for the Deutsches Theaterpreis Der Faust production “die Hermansschlacht – ein deutsche Betrachtung” which was invited in excerpts to the Theatertreffen NRW. During this time he worked with Roland Trescher, who staged the improtheater show “Hau den Hermann”.
As a result, after many other short films, he made the feature film “Operation Perpetuum Mobile”, in which he played one of the main roles. This was followed by theatre engagements at theatres in Aachen, Neustrelitz, Neubrandenburg and Berlin.
In 2012, Bittner and two colleagues founded the film production Sonnenfilme, which published the films “Lucky Dice” and “Spring Wind” this year. In 2013 he expanded his activities with the completion of the feature film “Home Star” and the music video “Mräulein Sommer”. The special feature of the music video is that it consists of a plan sequence that is played backwards. It received from the Film Rating Agency Wiesbaden FBW the predicate "Valuable"
In addition, Sonnenfilme produces showreels, concert recordings and image films.
Since 2005 Robert Bittner has been writing poems and prose – from 2012 he focused on writing scripts.
In 2013, he made the ZDF television film “Feuer unterm Dach” (Fire Under the Roof) in Sweden with Marie Zielcke from the Inga Lindström series, which was released on 29 May 2013. First aired in December 2013
At the end of the year he joined the Eduard-von-Winterstein-Theater Annaberg-Buchholz as an ensemble member.
