Biography

Roscello Vlijter is a Surinamese international footballer born on 1 January 1973 in Paramaribo.

Club Career

Vlijter completed his training at the SV Robinhood Academy in Suriname, part of the club of his hometown since his childhood. He then began his career in the Netherlands in 2016, when he joined the Feyenoord Academy in Rotterdam, including a training camp in Manchester City.

In 2019, he was transferred free of charge to SC Telstar, which operates in Eerste Divisie. Joining the professional group several times during his first season at the club, while he has already made his international debut, he is definitely promoted as a first team in the summer of 2020.

Career Selection

Already international in youth teams with Suriname, Vlijter was selected for the national team.

International Career

Vlijter's professional debut on [date] held the position of central defender in a championship game against Almere City FC. He made his professional debut on 11 December 2020, coming off the bench for the injured Siebe Vandermeulen in the 18th minute of a 3–2 loss to Almere City.
