Biography
Rosemary was born in England from Lilian and Richard Edwards, a professional soldier. According to her herself, since childhood she would have heard strange voices and seen faces held by spirits. At first it was led to the belief that every normal person had his abilities, but he realized that he was not, he soon learned to keep his powers hidden. Altea reports that she had a very sad childhood, and that the abuses suffered by her parents avid in her sensitivity to the pain of others. Her mother often threatened her that she would end up in a psychiatric hospital like her grandmother, Eliza Masters, who also seemed to have the ability to hear voices and see inaccessible faces to ordinary people, and for this she was considered crazy.
According to his biography it would have been the intervention of a spiritual healer, Paul Denham, with whom he had a casual encounter, to avoid that Altea really ended up in a mental hospital like his mother had predicted and where she probably would be labeled as schizophrenic.

She married at the age of 19, but was abandoned by her husband after losing two children in pregnancy, and after being affected by a serious illness in which she threatened to die. However, in 1970 he finally got a daughter.

Later, a meeting took place, which Altea believes decisively, with the healer Mick Mc Guire, who would help her to develop what would be her visionary qualities. He would then manifest his guiding spirit, which Altea claims to be an American native shaman by the name of "Aquila Grigia". In 1981 she assumed the new name of Altea and began to work as a medium, claiming she was able to get in touch with the dead through her guiding spirit. .

Meanwhile, through Mc Guire, he began working at the Stainforth Spiritualist Church. Here began his first lectures, which attracted more and more listeners. Altea reports that his guiding spirit was always at his side, and he never abandoned it every time he turned to him to ask for help. In 1983, on holiday in Cyprus, Altea met a renowned healer, John Mikaledes, who initiated her to the healing activity, which she felt naturally carried.

Activities
In 1986 Altea opened its first spiritual healing center and a year later the "Rosemary Altea Association of Healers" (RAAH). He currently lives in the United States where he is dedicated to his organization of healers, and in which he frees his work.

In 1996, what she defines her guiding angel, Eagle Grigia, would push her to write and publish her first book, A long scale to the sky, history of her life. Other books, followed by the first, illustrate the methods and exercises of what she calls spiritual healing.
