Rosen Kirilov
Rosen Yordanov Kirilov (; born 4 January 1973 in Vidin) is a Bulgarian retired professional footballer who played as a defender, and later managed various clubs.
Career
Kirilov moved at the age of 18 to play for CSKA Sofia in 1991. He helped his team win the 1992 Championship and the Cup of Bulgaria in 1993. In 1994, he was rented to Spartacus Pleven, but after two years, he joined Litex Lovech's first-aid team, which shortly before had been bought by oil businessman Grisha Ganchev and renamed Litex.
With Litex Kirilov won two titles, in 1998 and 1999. He was even declared the best central defender in the Bulgarian championship, together with his teammate Zlatomir Zagorcic. In 1997, Lovech returned to the elite division, with Kirilov as a permanent member of the team.
Kirilov played for various clubs throughout his career, including CSKA Sofia, Litex Lovech, Adanaspor, APOP Kinyras, and Vaslui. He also represented the Bulgaria national team, playing in the 1998 FIFA World Cup with his country's team.
