Early Life and Career

Rubén Marcelo Gómez García was born on January 26, 1984, in Adrogué, Argentina. He started playing football at a young age and joined the football school of Club Belgrano in Córdoba, where he played for the adult team.

Professional Career

Gómez began his professional career in Argentina before moving to Spain to play for Mallorca's youth team. However, he soon returned to Argentina and signed with Club Atlético Belgrano, where he spent two seasons playing 33 matches and scoring 2 goals.

In 2004, Gómez moved to Ukraine to join FC Metalurh Donetsk, making his debut on March 20, 2004, in a match against Mariupol's Ilyichevets. He played for the team until 2005, when he was loaned out to Alchevsk Steel.

Later Career

Gómez has also played for several other teams, including Zoria Luhansk, K.V. Mechelen, Levadiakos, Metalurh Donetsk (again), Club Atlético Belgrano, A.E.K. Larissa, Tavriya Simferopol, and FC Zaria Bălți.
