The Archontia or Archontato of Cyprus was an administrative division, inferior to the Theme, of the Byzantine Empire in today's Cyprus. Commander was the "Lord" who belonged to the imperial spatharian class.

It was created in the 8th century and replaced by the Cyprus Theme in the 10th century when it was liberated by the Arabs. During the 9th and 10th centuries when Cyprus had been conquered by the Arabs it continued to be appointed a Byzantine ruler, from this period eight lords (commanders), as well as commanders, rulers, of the 8th and 9th centuries, have been found.

Known Lords were:
Theodosius, about 9th or 10th centuries
Cross, 9th century.
