Rumyana Georgieva Radkova-Kamburova is a Bulgarian historian, a correspondent of BAS.
Biography
She was born July 7, 1939 in Shumen. In 1962 he graduated from higher education (Master) in history and archive at Sofia State University. Between 1962 and 1967 he was curator of the National Museum of Rila Monastery. Between 1965 and 1969 he was a PhD student at the Institute of History of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences. In 1969 he defended a thesis on the topic of the Rila Monastery as a national and cultural center during the Renaissance. Then he became a research associate at the Institute of History. He's been a senior research associate since 1975. In 1985 he defended a dissertation on the topic of the Bulgarian Intelligence during the Renaissance (XІІІ "the first half of the 19th century") for Doctor of History. Since 1989 he has been Senior Fellow I (Professor) at the same institute. Between 1989 and 1991 he was the head of the section "History of the Bulgarian people XV Since 2008 he is a correspondent of BAS. She specialized in Moscow (1972), Czech Republic, Poland, Cyprus and Austria. She has been awarded with the Order of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (1985) and a great award for the history of the Presidium of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences .Prof. Prof. Vasil Zlatarski (1987).
