Samuel () is an Orthodox priest, Metropolitan of the Ecumenical Patriarchate.

Biography
Born in 1782 in Nicosia of Cyprus. His father is from Salamin on Cyprus. In 1801 he was ordained for a deacon. In 1811 he went to Aywalak and studied at the Academy there with the teachers Gregory Sarafis, Benjamin Lesboski and Theophilos Cairis. He continued his training in Smyrna. In 1820 he went to Constantinople. He was originally appointed assistant director of the Patriarchal Printing House. However within the same year he took the lead of the Patriarchal Academy. In the same year he was ordained a Presbyterian by Metropolitan Dorotheus Edirne. In October 1830 he was ordained for a marble-built bishop. In January 1835 he was elected Mesember Metropolitan. On 26 March 1836 he resigned and again took the lead of the Patriarchal Academy. In 1844 he resigned but again took over the school from 1845 to 1847. In 1851 he settled at the Grand National School in Xirokrini (Kurucheshme), where he died on 2 April 1855.
