Stelios Konstantas

Stelios Konstantas (Greek: Στέλιος Κωνσταντάς) is a Cypriot pop singer.

Early Life and Career

Konstandas was born in Larnaca, Cyprus. Before his career as a musician, he was active as a football player. In 2001, he moved from Cyprus to Athens with his wife and three children to work on his music career.

Music Career

In 1994, Konstantas released his first album, which became a hit in Cyprus. He went on to release three more albums in the following years. In 1997 and 1999, he participated in the national preliminary decision for the Eurovision Song Contest, finishing second with "I grammitis ntropi" in 1997 and fourth with "Methysmeno feggari" in 1999.

Eurovision Participation

In 2003, the selection mode was changed in Cyprus, and Konstantas was selected by a broadcasting commission to represent the country at the Eurovision Song Contest in Riga. He performed his own composition, "Feeling Alive", which reached 20th place internationally.

V2 Records released an album and a single featuring Konstandas' music.

Personal Life

Konstandas was born in the 20th century in Larnaca. He is married with three children.
