Career

Clubs
The offensive midfielder with the strong left foot began his professional career with second division player Lechia Gdańsk, where he debuted in 1989 at the age of 15. At the beginning of the 1993/94 season, Wojciechowski joined the first division team Zawisza Bydgoszcz, but could not prevent the relegation at the end of the season. After half a year in the second class, he joined GKS Katowice in the winter of 1994/95 and thus returned to the upper house of Polish football. In this he completed until 1998 100 league games, in which he scored 30 goals.

Wojciechowski then moved to Switzerland for first division team FC Aarau. From there he was engaged in the winter break of the 1999/2000 season by the German record champion FC Bayern Munich. On 12 February 2000 (20th matchday) he debuted in the 2-0 victory in the away game against the SpVgg Unterhaching, when he was replaced in the 91st minute for Paulo Sérgio.

On 8 April 2000 (28th matchday) he scored with the goal of the 4-0 final score in the 85. Minute in the home game against the SSV Ulm 1846 his only Bundesliga player. For his three appearances in the league game, he was once in the game for the DFB Cup (3:2 home victory over Hansa Rostock) and in the Champions League (0:2 defeat at Dynamo Kiev) in the starting eleven. In the following season, “Wojciech” was only used for a game against the lower-class FC Schönberg 95 in the DFB Cup and once in the League Cup. Due to lack of practice, he left FC Bayern Munich and returned to FC Aarau, for which he played half a season.

After that he joined the Polish first division RKS Radomsko, who had to retire at the end of the season. Wojciechowski initially found no sporting home and remained clubless until December 2003. At the beginning of 2004, he signed a contract with his former club Lechia Gdańsk, who had arrived in the fourth highest league after a sporting new start in the sixth league in 2001. At the end of the season, the club succeeded in climbing to the third class, the direct march into the second Polish league followed.

After the end of the 2006/07 season, Wojciechowski left the second division team and then returned to Germany, where he was one season with the association division team (5th division; Middle Rhine) SCB Viktoria Cologne under contract. In March 2008, he was suspended for ten weeks due to an alleged assault – the apparently fouled player admitted that he had not been fouled. After he was without contract after this engagement until September 2008, he signed for a season with the Polish third division team Olimpia Grudziądz for which he played 18 league games. His last professional assignment he played on 6. June 2009 (30 pp.)
