Takis Papamattheou is a Greek actor and director.
Biography
He was born and raised in Athens. He studied at Athens Law School, Department of Public Law and Political Sciences. Master of the Drama School of the Theatre of Art "Carolos Kun". He has been honored with: theatrical award "Dimos Psathas", first prize for the short film For Electra's love at the US Seattle festival (2016), the Group's praise for UNESCO in 2016, for directing Snitsler with Chekhov vodka. He has starred in ancient drama and Aristophanes at the Festivals of Athens and Epidaurus, the international festivals of Florence, Berlin, Hamburg, Amsterdam, Brussels, Zurich, Sofia, Budapest. His theatrical course includes works of proza Greek and foreign dramatists classical and contemporary repertoire, musical theatre, inspection.
On television he made his first appearance in 1988–89 in the comedy series Like the country sleeps where he starred alongside Lambro Chaga.
