Tamer Hassan

Biography

Tamer Hassan was born on March 18, 1968, in London to a Turkish-Cypriot family. He began practicing boxing at the age of 10 and went on to become an amateur boxer, winning two British championships before suffering an injury that forced him to retire.

Career

Hassan's interests shifted from sports to entrepreneurship, and he became involved in the opening of restaurants and nightclubs. He is currently the owner and president of several establishments, including a football club (Greenwich Borough Football Club) and a boxing gym (Eltham Boxing Gym).

Before becoming an actor, Hassan had already made appearances on television, including episodes of "Casualty" (2001) and "Judge John Deed" (2002). He made his film debut in the 2004 movie "Calcium Kid," followed by roles in "The Football Factory" (2004) and "The Business" (2005), both directed by Nick Love.

Hassan has continued to work in film and television, appearing in productions such as "7 Seconds" (2005), "Goal! 3" (2009), "The Man Who Fell from the Sky" (2009), "Blood Brothers" (2010), and an episode of the popular series "Game of Thrones" (2016).

Personal Life

Hassan is married with two children. He cites Turkish actor Kemal Sunal as a role model, and has participated in charity football tournaments, including the Premier League All Stars for West Ham United.
