Tan Sağtürk

Tan Sağtürk (born 14 July 1969) is a Turkish actor, ballet dancer, and choreographer.

Early Life and Education

Sağtürk was born on 14 July 1969 in İzmir. He graduated from the Ballet Department of Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory.

Career

Sağtürk's maternal family is of Circassian descent. He began his career as a ballet dancer, becoming a soloist with the Jeune Ballet de France and the Ballet National de France. He also worked with the Istanbul National Opera and Ballet.

In addition to his work in classical ballet, Sağtürk has founded several ballet and dance schools across Turkey, including in Diyarbakır, Mardin, Gaziantep, Kayseri, Istanbul, Ankara, İzmir, and Northern Cyprus.

Sağtürk has also pursued a career in acting, appearing in television series such as "Bez Bebek" and "İkinci Bahar". He has been involved in various projects, including the "Kalp Voice Project", which was held in Antalya and İzmir State Opera and Ballet. In 2023, he was appointed General Manager of the State Opera and Bale.
