Tanios El Khoury (born May 4, 1930 in Saghbine); † September 20, 2022 was a Lebanese cleric and Maronite bishop of Sidon.

Live life
Tanios El Khoury received on 14. June 1958 the priestly ordination for the Eparchie Sidon.

Pope John Paul II. He was appointed on 8. June 1996 Bishop of Sidon. The Maronite Patriarch of Antioch and the whole East, Nasrallah Boutros Cardinal Sfeir, conferred on him the episcopal ordination on 5 October of the same year; Co-consecrators were Boutros Gemayel, Archbishop of Cyprus, and Roland Aboujaoudé, auxiliary bishop in Antioch.

Pope Benedict XVI. In 2005 he accepted his retirement.
