Tankus the Henge

--- CONTENT ---
Tankus the Henge is an English band based in London. Their musical influence ranges from rock 'n' roll to Gypsy Jazz and Ragtime and New Orleans music. Their composition can be classified, even if the leader Jaz Delorean defends (because the group uses electric instruments), in the genus Steampunk. He participates in a movement sometimes called "retrofuturist". After breaking into London, Tankus the Henge performed in several hundred concerts around the world and some of the biggest European festivals such as the Glastonbury Festival in England (2016) and the WOMAD in Spain (2011).

Origin of name
"Tankus" is the name of the ship on which Jaz Delorean's grandfather (leader of the band, singing and keyboards) worked in the Greek merchant navy. He sailed between Cyprus and Great Britain. Unfortunately not very good navigator, he ended up failing the ship and it still lies at the bottom of the Mediterranean. A "Henge" is a monument, this ship is a "Henge" lying at the bottom of the sea... It is a monument to the glory of temerity.
