Ricardo Tarcisio Navarrete Montes de Oca was born on July 29, 1954.
Career
Navarrete is a Mexican politician and diplomat who has been a member of the National Action Party. He holds a law degree from the University of the Valley of Mexico and a doctorate in law from the Complutense University of Madrid.
### Federal Deputy
From 2000 to 2003, Navarrete served as a federal deputy for the principle of proportional representation to the LVIII Legislature. During his tenure, he was Secretary of the Committee on Foreign Affairs and a member of the Committee on Parliamentary Regulations and Practices.
### Diplomatic Career
Navarrete has held various diplomatic positions, including:
* Alternate representative of Mexico to the Organization of American States based in Washington, D.C.
* Ambassador of Mexico to Honduras from 2007 to 2011
* Ambassador of Mexico to Greece, Moldova, and Cyprus since 2011 (previously reported as incumbent ambassador to these countries)
