The tables call the list of teams at the 1966 Chess Olympiad in Havana. The 52 participating teams initially played in seven preliminary round groups. From these preliminary rounds, two teams each came to the final tournaments A to C. The remaining teams reached the D final. Each team included four regular and a maximum of two substitutes. In the tables, the final placement is mentioned for each team, next to it is the achieved final tournament. The team balances are listed separately for the preliminary and final rounds, but the individual balances of the players in the sum of both tournament phases. For the placement of the teams, the board points were priority.
