Team lines-up of the 1992 Chess Olympics
--- CONTENT ---
The tables name the lineup of teams at the 1992 Chess Olympiad in Manila. The Olympics were attended by 102 teams who hosted a tournament in the Swiss system over 14 rounds. Among them were in addition to the A-selection two other teams of the host country. The classification was primarily based on Brettpunkte, then the Buchholz classification and finally on team points. Each team included four regular and a maximum of two substitutes. As far as play-free teams resulted, they received two board and team points in the respective round. An assignment to individual players did not take place. The reported teams from Yemen and Kenya did not travel. They were included in the pairings until the third round, resulting in battleless victories of their opponents, which were usually counted as 4-0 and also written to the positioned players as battleless individual victories.
