Team lines-up of the Chess Olympiad 1968

--- CONTENT ---
The tables name the lineup of teams at the 1968 Chess Olympiad in Lugano. The 53 participating teams initially played in seven preliminary round groups. From these preliminary rounds, two teams each came to the final tournaments A to C. The remaining teams reached the D final. Each team included four regular and a maximum of two substitutes. In the tables, the final placement is mentioned for each team, next to it is the achieved final tournament. The team balances are listed separately for the preliminary and final rounds, but the individual balances of the players in the sum of both tournament phases. For the placement of the teams, the board points were priority.

In contrast to previous Olympics, the matches of the teams from the same preliminary round group were transferred to the respective final tournaments and were not played again. Thus, the total number of individual games is usually less than would be expected by the number of team fights.
