"Teleset"

Teleset (full name Teleset Networks) is a group of fixed-line operators, which includes Teleset LLC in Kazan, TNPKO OJSC in Kazan, a branch of Teleset LLC in Naberezhnye Chelny, Simbirsk Telecommunications Systems (STS) in Ulyanovsk.
Activities
Teleset has been operating in Kazan since 1996, providing subscribers with a wide range of services, among which voice and data services were the main source of income. Today, Teleset has its own extensive telecommunications infrastructure. Acquisition of the fourth largest operator of Kazan TNPKO for $17 million in 2006 allowed the company to expand its service area and increase its market share in Kazan to 27% of the voice services market and up to 29% of the data transfer market. In November 2007, the company went beyond Kazan and acquired a fixed-line operator in Naberezhnye Chelny for 267 million rubles. As of 31.12.2007, the subscriber base was more than 130,000 (117,460 individuals, 12,550 legal entities). Teleset is 100% owned by Teleset Networks, registered in Cyprus. In October 2006, Teleset Networks was listed on the AIM London Stock Exchange.
In 2009, Teleset Networks started operating its own zone communication hub. Also in January 2009, a single contact center for subscribers of Kazan and Naberezhnye Chelny was put into operation.
In 2010, the company's shares were acquired by the largest telecom operator of the Volga region OJSC VolgaTelecom.
In all companies of the Teleset Networks group since 2000, a unified System for Automating the Activities of Communications Operators ACP Fastcom has been operating.
In 2002-2011 - General Director of Teleset was Roman Alexandrovich Shaykhutdinov.
