Teofan Savu, born Dumitru Savu (October 19, 1959 in Corbi, Argeș County) is an archbishop of the Iaşi and a Metropolitan of the Metropolitan of Moldova and Bucovina.
Previously, between 2000-2008, he was the Orthodox Archbishop of Craiova and the Metropolitan of Oltenia. From 9 September 1991 to 2000 he was a patriarchal vicar bishop with the title of Sinaitul.

8-year general school in the commune of Corbi, Argeş County. Theological Seminar in Craiova (1974- 1979). University Theological Institute of Bucharest (1980- 1984), with the thesis of license "Monastic Votes in the light of Christian perfection." The Theological Institute "Saint Serge" in Paris (1986-1990), obtaining the title Doctor in Theology with the work "La divino-humanité du Christ et la deification de l'homme dans l'oeuvre du Saint Maxime le Confesseur." Qualification obtained: summa cum laude.
