Propulsion
Tera Jet has a combined machine system consisting of four MTU-20V1163 diesel engines and two LM2500 gas turbines, produced by General Electric and Fiat. The latter are often used for hydrofoils, air cushion boats and high-speed ferries. The machine system drives the four hydrojets (water jet drive) located at the rear. The two middle hydrojets of the type KaMeWa 180 SII are fixed, while the two lateral hydrojets of the type KaMeWa 140 SII can be controlled and thus also act as rudders.
