Thassos Sophocleus is a Greek Cypriot politician. He was a Member of Parliament in the Lefkosia Electoral District in 1993-1996 elected with DISY.

Biographical Data
Thassos Sophocleus was born in Kythea in 1932. He speaks, beyond Greek, English. He obtained a degree in mathematics. He then obtained a master's degree in training administration and inspection. He worked as an educator.

Path Policy
He participated in the 1991 parliamentary elections in the Lefkosia Electoral District with DISY but was not elected. However, because in 1993 the MP of Nicosia of DISY, Ioannis Kasoulides, was appointed a Government Representative to the government of Glaukos Clerides, a Member was appointed as the next runner-up on 4 March 1993 for the Sixth Parliamentary Period.
