HB Tursshavn is one of the oldest and most successful football clubs in the Faroe Islands, which was established in 1904. The soccer club is located in the capital, Torssa Stone. The name HB is a shortbbreviation of the "Oner Proclamation" or "The Port's Football Club". The name "the stone" came from there to the city of Tursa Stone.
The club is the most decorated in the Faroe Islands and has 24 championship degrees and 27 Cups and 12 Diablos.
History of History
The club was founded on 4 October 1904. The first board of people who are considered to have three people: Mads Andrea Winter, Joan Paulie Johansen and Jack Morchin. The future mayor of Turkstone (1909–12), Mads Andre Weiner, was the first chairman of HB.
The first game of the team has ever been held on May 23, 1909 against TB Teboiri and ended with the result 2. The group took part in the first league of the Faroe Islands, straight after its founding in 1942. At first, the group was not the list, but later improved and even finished as a composer in the 1948/1949 seasons, 1949/1950, 1953/1954.
In the 1955 season, the team first won the title of the championship, and the completion of the Dwell after winning the first Cup of the Faroe Islands in this season, winning Clexwick in the final. The group continued to win the titles in the 1960s, but the rival Clakswick was considered more successful until the early 1970s.
In 1970, Torres Stone was supposed to play against Clexwick in the National Grail Final. But the finals never took place, as Clark refused to play the final in the Tursa Stone. The group was not announced for a technical conductor in the final despite the emergence of Clexwick. HB had been present in the cup at the time, after winning B36 Tursa Stone in the final of the Grail, the previous year. They finished second in 1970 after Clark won the fifth consecutive title. This was the fourth time HB finished the League’s deputy in the last four seasons. The following year, it was HB v TB in the trophy final, the game went on and this time HB won. HB also won the 1972 and 1973 Cup, making them winners 11 times in the Cup and winning the Cup for five consecutive years. They also won the Cup 5 times in the years between 1978 and 1982. HB is the only club in the Faroe Islands to achieve this, with other clubs winning the Cup for only two consecutive years. At this stage, they won the Faroe Cup many times more than all the other clubs in the Faroe Islands, but Clexwick still held a large number of titles in the league.
In the 1990s clubs in the Faroe Islands began to take part in European competitions, and HB did it for the first time in the European Cup for holdings of 1993/1994, where it moved the unprecedented and popular round. Since then, HB has been involved in almost all European competitions as the Faro Islands representative.
In 2003, HB won another championship, delivering the record of KÍ Calaxwick - 17 championships. A year later, HB again won the league and broke KÍ's record, making HB the most successful team in the Faroe Islands, ever since she was the winner of the Premier League championship and the winner of the Faroe Cups.
In November 2017, HB hired as director of Haymir Grodson, who had previously trained the Islamic Federal Reserve and led them to win the top 5 league championships. On September 23, 2018, the club won the Premier League again after defeating KÍ, which remained second, 2–1. In 2019, the group added its 27th state cup. In 2020, the team won their 24th championship title in history.
