The first Division (UK) is a pedestrian division serving in the British Army.
The Division is part of the seven British Army Divisions and one of the three operational divisions, along with the third and sixth. The Division was founded in 1937, served during World War II in France and later in North Africa. After the war, the Division and the Division was re-established in 1976 as the first accredited Division, as part of the “Military 2020” program, the Division was renamed the Infantry Division in 2014 and the divisions that made it changed and it was responsible for the adaptable Force. In 2015 as part of the British forces' release from Germany, the Division's headquarters from the Redford moved to the Imple camp in York and it was destined to move to the Qatari camp until 2028.
History of History
The Division was founded in 1937 as an armored operational visa and shot during World War II under Roger Evans' command. In 1940, the Division was sent to fight alongside the French army against the Nazi German army in the Battle of the conquest of France, retreating back along with the rest of the British forces and from Damascus.

During the Gulf War, the Division served an armored force, which, along with the rest of the coalition forces, served an armored effort in the left wing of progress in Iraq. In 2003, the Division was sent to Iraq during the Iraq War and fought alongside the coalition forces in the southern sector, including the conquest of the city in the city.
In 2014, as part of the British Army 2020 program, the Infantry Division was appointed with command of the “adapt force” and the divisions that comprise it are combative divisions with spatial responsibility or non-torn spatial divisions (in addition to opposition assistance forces). In 2015, the Division headquarters from Germany was transferred to the Iel camp in York.
