Doxa Polemidion

Doxa Polemidion is a Cypriot association football club based in Kato Polemidia, located in the Limassol District.

History

The team was founded in 1958. Initially, it participated in the events of the Limassol Provincial Football Federation (EPOL). In 1988, it joined the fourth division and the ranks of the Cyprus Football Federation (COP) through the accession championship.

### Early Years in Fourth Division

In its first participation in the fourth division, from 1988–89, Doxa Polemidion finished in third place of its group. The following seasons saw a decline in performance: seventh place in 1989–90 and twelfth place in 1990–91. Eighth place followed in 1991-92.

### Demotion to Local Championships

The 1992–93 period was the last that the fourth division was conducted with groups, and most teams from those groups were demoted to the agricultural championships. Doxa Polemidion finished its group in eighth place and was subsequently demoted to the rural (local) championships. Since then, it has participated in various local competitions.

The colours of Doxa Polemidion are yellow and black.
