MAD Video Music Awards

The MAD Video Music Awards (MAD VMA) is an annual award ceremony presented by the Greek private network MAD TV. The awards honor the greatest achievements in the Greek music industry.

History

The ceremony began in 2004 as part of the MAD TV Initiative, which organizes and broadcasts the event every year in June. Initially, the ceremony was held under the auspices of MAD TV alone. However, from 2011 onwards, it has been held in partnership with Vodafone, a communications company with business ties to MAD TV.

Voting Process

The winners are determined by a public vote, where the MAD TV audience chooses from five nominees in each category. The voting takes place on-site at the ceremony.
