The granite battalion (932) was established in June 1976 to the Galilee Peace War, as a continuous security battalion in the Central Command. His activity before the war was in the Jordan Valley.

The battalion is excellent in the dress of the IDF division and the red arrow in the head of the symbol.

The structure of the battalion
The granite battalion (which does not confuse with the IDF’s maintenance battalion) is a combat, regular, infantry battalion operating within the IDF’s command under the IDF. The slogan or the “leading trial” used by the unit’s fighters is – the spearheaded granite battalion – this is in reference to their establishment in the ranks of the Hajel Brigade, partly in the brigade symbol, and because they are fighting leaders.

Another sentence expressed by the unit’s fighters is the “War Tomorrow” trial to address the battalion’s readiness for operational activity at any time.

Admission to the ranks of the battalion is conditioned in the mobilization of the High Court as a mesh and then the litigation company of the unit in the pre-target phase of the High Court is good.

The training course of a combatant in the IDF division begins at the center of the Division’s training in Tel Arad. There he undergoes novices (basic training) for 4 months (in the base of a good) and then an advanced training that spans four months and a half (in the base).

During the training period, the fighters learn how to fight open ground, in desert areas in cities and villages, as well as how to cooperate with other alien forces and other forces such as the armored Force, the artillery force, and the air force in cleaner exercises. The exercises are done both in the field and in the different training facilities of the Division and in advanced lobbys (or simulations) which are from many extreme modes that may encounter them fighting in the battlefield when the emphasis is on a northern square in accordance with the salty date of the IDF division that is cut north. At the end of the training route, the IDF fighters, who, over 8 months (and the majority of Sutai 07 as part of the Infantry Force) receive the company's castles to wear the mask of the battalion after they rise to operational divisions.

The battalion as part of the effort and purpose of the IDF Brigade, although it operates in all the different sectors, is intended to combat the northern borders of the country (see: Hezbollah, Syria and Lebanon). The modern Fatah division itself was “established” in light of the lessons of the First Lebanon War, in order to help the army cope and learn better the nature of the fighting in a northern outline following the lessons produced from the various systems which he conducted in Lebanon.

The ISA battalion is the most decorated battalion (as of 2023) of all the regular battalions of the IDF Brigades.

The battalion’s training company is highly wanted in the “Terrons” phases among the new mesh and recruiters (without the exception of tailor building) of the division within the battleship cycles.

The granite battalion (932) consists of six companies: headquarters, route company, Hoid Company, assists an attack and operational disclosure company.

The battalion's sniper department has won impressive titles in bullet contests and a sniper in recent years. Both in the international aspect and in the IDF.
