"The Radziville Family"

The Radziwiłł family in Lithuania: Radvila, Belarus: Радзівіл, Radzivił, German: Radziwill, in Latin: Radvil, Beidish: Radziville, was an elite noble family in Poland- Lithuania, in the Great Duchy of Lithuania and Prussia. Beginning in 1518, the princes of the Holy Roman Empire (for this they appear in the literature as "Princess to the House of Radziville" or "The Princes of Radziville"). One of the most important, rich and influential families in Poland in the 17th and 18th centuries. Her sons and daughters were robbed of royal houses and married in the positions of Rami, and her ovaries were among the largest feudal concessions in the kingdom (with the streams of Zamoysky, Winnieovsky and Ostragassky).

Family source and wealth
The family is the direct completion of the Astikai Lithuanian family. The source of the name Brad Villa Estekas, Count of Vilna and Marshall Lithuania (Radvila Astikas; 1384–1477). The legendary source of the name refers to a family member who is supposedly raised by wolves. The family members are also Pope Francis IV, King of Poland.

In 1518, the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire raised Mikulaj II Radziwiłł; 1470-1521) who fought against the Moscow Princesses to the rank of the Emperors (German: Reichsfürst, Latin: Princeps Imperii). This degree has been inherited to all the heads of the family since it has symbolized its centrality and supremacy among the families of the nobility. Along with the degree, the family gained land in Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine and Poland of today, which included 23 palaces and castles, 426 cities, 2,032 agricultural streams and 10,053 villages. Among the familiar cities and districts under the family’s control can be counted in Kapost, Mir, Nishwauk, Wain, a smir on the Viasla River, Brest Litovsk, Ashmyani, Lisa, Salosk (including towns in the Kofill and the Rosova), Bun Folsk, Shumsk, and the estates near the city of Kovuna.

In addition to palaces and castles in the family areas (for example, the castle of Mir, the castle of Nias), she acquired and built palaces in the important cities (now the presidential palace), the pinkna, Vilna, Lublin, became clear, Minsk, Bob, and Rusc and Gdańsk).

Main Men

One of the men who raised the family to grow was the black ecclesilic eclipse (1515-1565; Mikolaj Krzysztof Radziwiłł). The marriage of his family, Barbara (Barbara Radziwiłł; 1520-1550) to Sigmund August, later King of Poland and the Grand Duke of Lithuania further raised the status of the family. Since then, most of the family leaders have been awarded the Weiwood (parallel to the Duke) and the functions of a supreme military command (Mr. Marshall and Hartman) and a senior administration official.

Prince Mikwałaj Krzysztof Radziwiłł; 1549-1616) was a change to King Stamp in the Territory and succeeded in increasing the family’s concessions and expanding them while consolidating into a single continuum mainly in the western Belarus of today. Prince Mikullai was among the main sculptors of the Polish Renaissance and embarked on trips in Italy, in Israel, Egypt and Syria (on this journey he wrote the book "Podróż Do Ziemi Świętej, Syrii i Egiptu 1582-1584"), in Greece, Crete and Cyprus and more. The heads of the family in the next generation were Janusz Radziwiłł; 1612-1655) Hatman, Weiwood Vilna and Governor Kamitz and Kazimij Dollini and the Governor-in-fact in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and Prince Bogusław Radziwiłł; 1620-1669), Governor of the Duchy of Russia.
