The Rhine (born 28 August 1954) is a social activist and an Israeli writer, from the P.I. movement, the social coalition and chairman of the Social Justice Party.

The Canaanite was born in Jerusalem. His military service was made in the Golani Brigade as a soldier and officer. During the Yom Kippur War, he fought in battle with the Harmon and also participated in the Peace of the Galilee. After his military service he graduated from engineering and a master’s degree in Business Administration at the Technion. For many years, he has worked in Israeli industry and engineering companies, in senior management positions. He specialized in energy, waterfall, and large projects in Israel and abroad, such as the establishment of desalination facilities in Ashkelon and Cyprus and the establishment of power stations in Kazakhstan and Papua New Guinea. Between 2005 and 2010, he served as CEO of a major international engineering company (integration projects). Today it serves as a consultant and partner in infrastructure projects such as solar facilities, humiliation and installations.

Ren was appointed with the establishment of the p.S. movement (2009) - social movement for the quality of society and government in Israel. The movement dealt with public battles against anti-social legislation, and supported training activities and encouraged young leadership. Among its struggles: the abolition of the drought tax, the opposition to raising the waterways, opposition to privatization of land, and the struggle for affordable housing.

From 2006 to 2010, he was volunteering as chairman of a friend’s Association, which deals with access to rights and empowering communities. In 2009, the association won the president’s arrivals for volunteers.

In 2012, Richz organized a “social coalition,” whose prominent activity in the field of struggle for public housing and affordable housing was expressed in conferences, demonstrations and the establishment of a “wall and tower” project in the area of the universe. That same year, for the 19th Knesset elections, the chairman of the Social Justice Party was elected.
